Consent management and withdrawal
Managing and Withdrawing Consent
K2 GLOBAL UKRAINE respects your choices regarding the use of personal data and optional website technologies.
Where processing is based on consent, you can change your preferences or withdraw your consent. This page explains how to do so and what withdrawal may mean.
1. What Consent Covers
Consent applies to the specific processing purpose stated when it is requested. It does not automatically extend to other purposes or uses of your data.
Depending on the website features available, separate consent may be requested for:
- The use of optional analytics, functional, or marketing cookies.
- Receiving marketing and informational newsletters for which consent is required.
- Other expressly stated personal data processing activities where consent is the legal basis.
Simply visiting the website, submitting an enquiry, or requesting a commercial proposal does not constitute consent to marketing communications or all forms of data processing.
2. How to Change Cookie Settings
If a cookie management panel is available on the website, open it and change your selection of optional categories. Save your preferences using the control provided in the panel.
If you cannot find the settings or change your choices, contact us using the details in the “Contacts” section.
You can also delete stored cookies and restrict their use through your browser settings. Deleting cookies does not in itself constitute a request to delete personal data already received by the company.
Cookie preferences may be stored separately for each browser and device. After you delete browser data, the website may ask you to set your preferences again.
3. How to Unsubscribe from Mailing Lists
If you receive marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in the message where provided, or send us a request to stop receiving such communications.
In your request, specify the email address or other contact details receiving the messages. This will help us locate the relevant subscription.
Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary messages relating to your enquiry, contract, or delivery where there is an independent lawful basis. Such messages must not be used to bypass your marketing opt-out.
4. How to Withdraw Consent to Data Processing
Send a request using the contact details published in the website's “Contacts” section. Include “Withdrawal of Consent” in the subject line.
To help us handle your request, please provide:
- Your name or details that allow us to locate your enquiry.
- The contact details used when giving consent, such as your email address.
- The consent you wish to withdraw or the processing you would like us to stop.
- Your preferred method of receiving a response.
If you do not remember the exact name of the consent, describe the situation in your own words. You do not need to give a reason for withdrawing it.
5. What Happens After Withdrawal
We stop processing based on the withdrawn consent unless another lawful basis allows that processing to continue.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was received. It also does not automatically result in the deletion of all documents and information relating to you.
Data may be retained to the extent necessary, for example to comply with legal requirements, perform an existing contract, or protect rights, where the relevant legal basis applies.
Minimal information about a marketing opt-out may be retained, where necessary and lawful, to respect your choice and prevent your contact details from being added to a marketing mailing list again.
6. Withdrawal of Consent and Data Deletion
Withdrawing consent and requesting data deletion are separate actions. You may combine them in a single request if you wish.
If you want your data deleted, state this explicitly in your request. We will assess whether deletion is possible, taking into account the purposes of processing, applicable requirements, and mandatory retention periods.
If we cannot fulfil your request in full, we will explain the reasons and specify which data must be retained.
7. How Withdrawal Affects Website Use
Declining optional cookies or marketing communications should not prevent you from accessing basic company information or submitting a general enquiry.
Some additional features may be unavailable if they require a technology you have declined.
Strictly necessary technologies and processing based on other lawful grounds are considered separately from consent to optional features.
8. Handling Requests
We handle requests without undue delay and within the time limits established by applicable law. Withdrawing consent is free of charge.
If we have reasonable doubts about the requester's identity, we may ask for the minimum additional information needed to verify the request. Please do not send copies of identity documents unless we have specifically requested them.
If your request concerns settings of a third-party service that we do not control, we will explain this and, where possible, suggest whom to contact.
9. Additional Information
You can learn more about the purposes and legal bases for processing, retention periods, and your rights on the “Privacy Policy” and “Personal Data Processing” pages.
The purposes of cookies and ways to manage them are described on the “Cookie Policy” page.
